The Character of the Wackynarrator as a Stylistic Device in the Publicism by Vyacheslav Pietsukh

Journalism of the beginning of the XXI century reflects the process of intense search by the Russian society for its own path, looking for ways to deploy a broad ideological dialogue and joint understanding of rapidly changing life. One of the most prominent publicists, whose critical attention is focused on Russian culture, which has found itself in the conditions of the processes of globalization, is V.A. Pietsuh. The research is aimed at studying the publicistic creativity of V.A. Pietsukh in 2001–2015. during the period of active development by the Russian society of the national idea and concept of cultural identity, to comprehend the role of the publicist in the public dialogue, to consider his stylistic manner, which allows making the public dialogue deeper, engaging and relaxed, without edification. The subject of consideration is the image of a fool narrator in the journalism of V.A. Pietsukh. As a result of the study, it was revealed that V.A. Pietsuh refers to the narrative mask of the fool as a stylistic device that allows the reader to engage in the process of understanding current life and jointly developing worldview values that are in demand in modern conditions. By critically speaking about the process of globalization, about values alien to the Russian person, the publicist, thanks to this mask, manages to expose the vices of modern society, avoiding direct awareness and preserving the form of an intellectually and emotionally saturated social dialogue. The article draws a conclusion about the importance of the journalistic creativity of Vyacheslav Pietsuh in the cultural and ideological dialogue about Russia. The study complements the existing knowledge about the personality of V. Pietsukh in the modern journalistic process, about the peculiarities of his style and the techniques used by him.
