Intercultural education plays a key role in strengthening economic and cultural ties between China and Vietnam, where the demand for Chinese language skills has significantly increased in the context of globalization. Despite existing research, a comprehensive interdisciplinary analysis of the development of Chinese education in Vietnam remains insufficiently explored. The aim of this study is to analyze the current state, identify challenges and opportunities of Chinese education in Vietnam from an intercultural perspective, and propose strategic recommendations. The study combines intercultural analysis methods with both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Results show that Chinese education has deep historical roots but faces challenges such as resource shortages, outdated teaching materials, and a lack of qualified teachers. However, opportunities for development include the implementation of the "Chinese+" model, program optimization, and digital transformation of education. The proposed measures contribute to the advancement of international Chinese education and the strengthening of bilateral cooperation.
